The General's Green Room, renovated in 2008, is the perfect place to curl up with your laptop and absorb the peaceful atmosphere. Green improvements include high-efficiency windows and insulation, Energy-star ventilation fans, CFL lighting. The Green Room has a spectacular private bath with skylight and salvaged Original Style tile. The pale yellow wallpaper from Great Britain summons up the romantic elegance of the Eighteenth Century. The queen-sized urn post bed is an Eldred Wheeler reproduction, with a Nature’s Rest mattress that ensures a great night of sleep.
Green Room guests have the same breakfast choices as people staying in Liberty Coin: non-GMO granola, organic yogurt, fruit salad, and fresh baked goods. A small refrigerator is provided for guests’ convenience. Located in the northern wing of the main house, the Green Room, with its own entrance, can be almost as private as Seagull Cottage. The General’s Green Room already has return guests who could not imagine staying anywhere else while on the Outer Cape. That’s how special this great new room is. |
